Affinis® Retractors
The newly developed Affinis® Shoulder Retractor set focuses on an optimised exposure of the glenoid. Their anatomical shape facilitates the release of the Glenoid while protecting the soft tissues, whereby the different offset types allow a successive release. The close joint exposure improves the sight of the articular cavity and considerably simplifies the positioning of the glenoid.
To meet the demands of differing surgical techniques, the Retractor set possesses seven different instruments for the successive release:

Anterior Glenoid Retractor

Lateral Inferior Glenoid Retractor
- Large cavity for the humeral head
- Curved tips for a secure hold on the inferior scapula neck
- Strongly angled for the exposure of the operative field
Inferior Glenoid Retractor
- Available with two different degrees of curved double-tips
- Simplified humeral head retracting
- Secure positioning on the scapular neck
Posterior Glenoid Retractor
- Three offset types: +0, +3, +6
- Preservation of soft tissues by the patient-adapted choice of the exposure
