The main instruments of this surgical technique are the 4 in1 cutting block and the new femoral size and rotation guide. The combination of four different femoral osteotomies in one single cutting block allows to reduce the operating time and to increase the precision of the cuts. The femoral size and rotation guide allows the surgeon to respond to the particularities of the individual patient and to determine the optimal prosthetic size and rotational alignment. These parameters are very important for the longevity of the prosthesis. |

Early mobilization and maximum range of motion
The main instruments of this surgical technique are the 4 in1 cutting block and the new femoral size and rotation guide. The combination of four different femoral osteotomies in one single cutting block allows to reduce the operating time and to increase the precision of the cuts.
The femoral size and rotation guide allows the surgeon to respond to the particularities of the individual patient and to determine the optimal prosthetic size and rotational alignment. These parameters are very important for the longevity of the prosthesis.
The bone-preserving design of the implants allows an ideal bicondylar bone resurfacing. The benefits for the patient are early mobilization and maximum range of motion as well as pain reduction at the same time. The design of the implant was developed in consideration of the anatomical and morphometric conditions of the femoral and tibial bone. Hence, it guarantees excellent fit. Real life necessities and daily clinical routines were included in the basic data for the design of the prosthesis.
