Successful endoprosthetic treatment of the hip is not merely a question of using the right implant design. In fact, it requires an exact replication of the anatomical relationships with correct determination of inclination and anteversion even in the planning phase. A new 3D radiography system is opening up new opportunities to minimise the risk of dislocation in the future.
