Due to the effects of the corona crisis, the Bettlach-based orthopaedics company Mathys Ltd Bettlach has to report a decline in turnover of 20.2% (17.1% adjusted for currency effects) in the 1st half of 2020. This can be seen from a company announcement. Turnover in the first half of the year thus amounted to CHF 55.1 million. Despite a decline in turnover, the operating operating profit could be kept positive «thanks to disciplined cost management».
