Description

The EMPOWR Knee System is a comprehensive and versatile implant platform consisting of the EMPOWR 3D Knee®, that enables Dual-Pivot™ articulation and the EMPOWR PS Knee®, which is designed to provide stability through seamless cam and post articulation.

The EMPOWR Knee System™ recreates the stability of the natural, healthy knee in throughout a full range of motion. Both the EMPOWR 3D Knee™ and the PS Knee™ come with a single-radius femoral component for consistent soft tissue tension through approximately 65°. The tibial inserts are made of e+™, a proprietary knee-specific Vitamin E polyethylene, which is scientifically formulated to reduce oxidation and long-term wear.1 The system is rounded off by the asymmetric baseplate design which maximizes tibial coverage without overhang, for optimizing baseplate fixation.2 

The EMPOWR 3D Knee™ enables Dual-Pivot™ articulation, which replicates natural motion throughout a full range of motion.2 The asymmetric EMPOWR 3D Femur is used with the EMPOWR 3D inserts, and results in optimal patellofemoral tracking and reduced wear.3

The EMPOWR PS Knee™ is specifically designed for cases where the PCL has required replacement and is engineered to provide optimum stability through seamless cam and post articulation.
