Review of session 1
Following the success of our first session – «Difficult Indications in Shoulder Arthroplasty» – on 24 May 2022, we are pleased to be able to provide you with access to the recording of the first session in the Mathys Online-Live Symposia series. All you need to do to watch the recording of the event is register free of charge. This event, which was developed especially for orthopaedic surgeons, will remain certified by the German Medical Association until 24 May 2023 and is worth 4 CME credit points. To obtain CME points and receive a personalised attendance certificate, participants must successfully complete the CME quiz.
Session 2: «Hot Topics in Hip Arthroplasty»
In association with Winglet, we will present our second CME-accredited Mathys Online-Live Symposia on 12 July 2022 at 7 pm. Content of the session
This session will provide you with in-depth background information about decision making in hip joint preservation versus replacement and surgical techniques, pearls and pitfalls of joint preservation surgery. Prevalent clinical problems such as how to manage periprosthetic fractures and spino-pelvic dysbalance will be presented and discussed with you.
The core content of the session:
• To recognize and understand good indications for hip preservation surgery
• To recognize and understand the differential indication for hip preservation versus replacement in difficult cases
• To be able to choose the best surgical strategy for complex periprosthetic fractures around the hip
• To understand concepts of spino-pelvic alignment and concurrent THA instability

Certification
The CME quiz will be activated one week after the live broadcast. You will be able to access the CME quiz in the live center via the «Get Certified» button and complete it within 12 months as follows:
