Monitoring of up to 13 different vital signs – including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, ECG frequency, respiratory rate, cardiac output and temperature – is carried out non-invasively via a disposable chest monitor. The BioBeat system therefore reduces patient contact during monitoring. The values are continuously recorded and evaluated via a cloud-based system. If vital signs change above or below pre-set and pre-defined thresholds, the system sounds an alarm so that medical staff can intervene quickly. The patients’ data can be synchronised directly with the hospital’s digital system. This minimises sources of error and frees doctors and nurses from the need to complete documentation manually.
BioBeat is CE and FDA certified and has already been integrated as a central monitoring application in 20 Israeli clinics with a designated COVID department.
